Single Earring | Handmade from vintage findings and watch parts - Steampunk - Boho - Blackened Silver - Kinetic

This one-of-a-kind kinetic dangle is hand assembled using a new blackened French earwire hand forged of 20 gauge copper wire and oxidized to a dark black. Two tiny, silvery watch parts dangle from the loop, finished off with a blackened metal ball. The entire earring is a tiny assemblage of vintage bits, the watch parts rescued from the ignoble obscurity of a closed watch repair shop, long out of business. This pretty earring dangles quite nicely and measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in length.

Found objects and broken jewelry form the basis for most of my jewelry creations and this lovely trinket is no exception - a unique, handmade and one-of-a-kind treasure. Because these pieces are made from vintage, time-worn elements no two will be exactly alike and they should be expected to display some wear and tiny imperfections, adding to their mystery and grace.
